We investigate the evolutionary and developmental roots of cooperation

Our interdisciplinary research program brings together methodologies and insights from psychology, anthropology, and evolutionary biology to best explore how cooperation develops and is sustained throughout our lives.

Our studies take place in our laboratory at Boston College, in local parks such as Boston Common, at museums such as the Discovery Museum in Acton and the Boston Children’s Museum, and at local schools.

Are you an undergraduate interested in gaining research experience? We offer opportunities for students to participate in the lab through volunteer research assistant (RA) positions & credit-based RA positions.

Our lab is constantly working toward communicating the results of our studies to the broader academic and non-academic audience. A list of recent publications can be found by clicking below.
